This recipe can be made in the slow cooker. Brown the sausage first then add to slow cooker with remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. For insta-pot, cook steps 1 and 2 on the sauté function. Add and mix in the remaining ingredients. Cover and secure the lid and pressure valve. Cook on manual high pressure for 10 minutes. Allow a 10-minute manual release and release the remaining pressure manually.
