Spanish Chorizo Sausage Dip

A recipe for Uli’s Famous Spanish Brand Chorizo Sausage

Prep Time: 1o minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients:

5 pounds Uli’s Famous Spanish Brand Chorizo (about 6 links – remove casing)
1 pound cream cheese(melted)
5 onions, diced
16 ounces sour cream
8-12 ounces Hero Giardiniera (Giardiniera is an Italian relish made of pickled vegetables in a mixture of vinegar and oil. It is typically eaten as an antipasto or with salads. In the United States, it’s often used as a topping for burgers, brats, bruschetta, hot dogs, or Italian Beef sandwiches. If you can’t find Hero Giardinera, chop peppers, olives, jalapenos, etc.)

Directions:

In a large saucepan, Brown crumbled Sausage on medium (6-12 minutes).
Add diced Onions.
Soften cream cheese and add to mixture stirring until melted .
Add Sour Cream.
Stir in Hero Giardiniera.
Keep warm on low heat on hot plate.
Serve with crackers, chips or crostinis.

Notes:

This recipe can be darn spicy so choose your tolerance level of sausage carefully.
